Last call for planting spring bulbs.

Make sure perennial beds, trees, and shrubs have an adequate layer of mulch.

Cut mums to the ground and mulch as they die back.

Pay attention to watering during the winter months. Long dry spells can doom shallow rooted plants, while poor drainage can cause serious root rots.

Pot up bulbs to force for the holiday season.
